Hi, my name is Azma — a painter and art instructor.
In high school, when I was given the freedom to choose a major, my happiest hours were spent at the easel, so art naturally became my path. That passion only deepened over time, leading me from a Diploma in Art to both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Art/Graphic Design.
Teaching has since become a natural continuation of my studio practice. My approach combines strong design fundamentals with personal expression — from light and color studies to visual storytelling — helping each student discover and develop their own unique artistic voice.

I work with a variety of mediums, including acrylics, oils, pencils and pastels. I believe that limiting myself to a single medium would restrict my creative process — each idea seems to find its own form and style as it develops.

I enjoy observing our surrounding world and recreating it on paper. The human soul, with its intelligence, has the ability to showcase both the yin & the yang of the world, and our thoughts become our reality. Because of this, I love recreating reality as it is, in my work.
